- Administrative Civil Liability - Adelanto Public Utility Authority
On April 4, 2008, the Water Board issued Administrative Civil Liability Complaint No. R6V-2008-0012 recommending a $15,000 assessment of civil liability to the Adelanto Public Utility Authority. The Complaint alleges that this party violated the Water Board’s Cease and Desist Order (CDO) No. R6V-2007-0024 by submitting the first CDO-required quarterly status report 23 days late. If the party does not waive its right to a public hearing, the Complaint will be considered by the Water Board at a public hearing currently scheduled for its June 11-12, 2008 meeting in Victorville.

On November 16, 2007, the Regional Board issued Administrative Civil Liability Complaint No. R6T-2007-0007 recommending a $100,000 assessment of civil liability to Everd A. McCain, B.J. Deis, and McCain and Associates.
The Water Board held a hearing on the matter on March 13th in Truckee and continued the hearing to a later meeting to allow the parties an opportunity to try to reach a structured settlement that would include stabilization of the dam sites and a penalty of some cash value.
