WHEREAS:

1. The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) has contracted with the Foundation for California Community Colleges (F.C.C.C.) for the past four years to provide student assistant services to the SWRCB and the Regional Water Quality Control Board.

2. Contract funding for FY 98/99 AND 99/00 would not exceed $1,500,000.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT:

The SWRCB authorize the Executive Director or his designee to negotiate, execute, and amend, as necessary, the Foundation for the Foundation for Community Colleges Student Assistant Contract.

The undersigned, Administrative Assistant to the SWRCB, does hereby certify that the foregoing is full, true and correct copy of a resolution duly and regularly adopted at a meeting of the State Water Resources Control Board held on March 18, 1999.
