The Basin Plan Amendment for the Control of Diazinon and Chlorpyrifos Runoff into the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta (Amendment) is now fully approved and effective as of 10 October 2007. This Amendment was adopted by the Central Valley Water Board on 23 June 2006, approved by the State Water Resources Control Board on 22 May 2007, the Office of Administrative Law on 9 August 2007 and USEPA on 10 October 2007. The updated Basin Plan, which includes this Amendment, can be downloaded at the Regional Water Board’s Basin Planning webpage.
