SWAMP - Surface Water Ambient Monitoring Program
ROUNDTABLESCoordination of SWAMP monitoring efforts is done through regular meetings of the SWAMP Roundtable. The roundtable is composed of State and Regional Board staff and representatives from other agencies and organizations including the Department of Fish and Game and the University of California. Interested parties, including members of other agencies, consultants or other stakeholders are welcome to participate. Scientific workshops on sample collection and field data measurement, laboratory analytical methodology issues, and biological assessment and toxicity testing also were sponsored by SWAMP in 2002. A SWAMP calendar, which includes SWAMP Roundtable meeting dates, is posted at http://mpsl.mlml.calstate.edu/swamp.htm. The calendar also contains a partial schedule of SWAMP activities such as field sampling and laboratory analysis.
