Statewide Septic Systems Policy - OWTS
THIS PAGE HAS CHANGED - FINAL DRAFT POLICY RELEASED|
This page has changed because a final draft of the policy has been released to the public. This final draft is the result of multiple public workshops, comments received by stakeholders from all over the state, and collaboration with Regional Water Quality Control Boards staff and local government health representatives. Approximately 2% of existing small onsite septic systems will be affected by this final draft, which emphasizes local management of onsite systems. Materials relevant to older drafts are still available. Three final public meetings are scheduled for the Statewide Septic Systems Policy. These meetings will also be broadcast live through the Cal/EPA internet website. |
