INTEGRATED REGIONAL WATER MANAGEMENT GRANT PROGRAM
PLANNING GRANTS

The Integrated Regional Water Management (IRWM) Grant Program, funded by Proposition 50, Chapter 8, provided approximately $14.7 million during the first round of funding, of which approximately $2.1 million was allocated for the development of Integrated Coastal Watershed Management Plans. The Planning Grants are intended to foster development or completion of IRWM Plans or components thereof, to enhance regional planning efforts, and to assist more applicants to become eligible for Implementation Grant funding.

  • Final IRWM Planning Grant Proposal Solicitation Package  - March 2005
    The Proposal Solicitation Package (PSP) provides applicants with the format and evaluation criteria to generate competitive proposals for the IRWM grant program. All applications will be submitted through the Financial Assistance Application Submittal Tool (FAAST). The submission deadline was May 12, 2005.

  • Final Round 1 Integrated Regional Water Management Program Guidelines - The State Water Resources Control Board adopted the IRWM Grant Program Guidelines on November 18, 2004. These Guidelines establish the process that the Water Board and the Department of Water Resources will use to jointly administer the IRWM Grant Funding Program.
