Bay Protection and Toxic Cleanup Program - (BPTCP)
SEDIMENT
QUALITY OBJECTIVES
ADVISORY COMMITTEE
California Water Code section 13394.6 requires the State Water Resources Control Board to establish an advisory committee to assist with developing sediment quality objectives. Members of the Sediment Quality Advisory Committee provide input on sediment quality objectives development and implementation for enclosed bays and estuaries. CWC section 13394.6 requires the advisory committee to include representatives of businesses that use bays, estuaries and coastal waters in their activities, dischargers, and environmental/public interest groups. The State Water Board invited interested parties to attend a meeting on July 29, 2003 to nominate members of the Sediment Quality Objectives Advisory Committee.
