Water Board Scientists Look for Contaminants in Mussels -
State water Board scientists are collecting mussels around the state to see if there is evidence of contaminants. This effort is part of the Board's ongoing Mussel Watch program and tissues will be analyzed at labs in cooperation with the federal government. Final data will be used in the Board's evaluation of contaminants of emerging concern.
