The San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board (Water Board) requests public comments on many types of draft documents: Basin Plan amendments, adoption of TMDLs (Total Maximum Daily Loads), NPDES permits, Waste Discharge Requirements, Site Cleanup Requirements, Enforcement Orders, California Environmental Quality Act documents and more. Basin Planning and TMDLs
- Guadalupe River Watershed Mercury TMDL
On October 8, 2008, the Water Board will hold a second hearing to consider a Basin Plan amendment incorporating a total maximum daily load (TMDL) for mercury in the Guadalupe River watershed.
- The Water Board will reconsider a Basin Plan amendment incorporating a TMDL for sediment and a Habitat Enhancement Plan for the Napa River watershed. Project documents are available for public review and comment, at the link above. A public hearing is scheduled for December 10, 2008.
- Sonoma Creek Sediment TMDL and Habitat Enhancement Plan
Water Board staff are recirculating a Basin Plan amendment incorporating a TMDL for sediment and a Habitat Enhancement Plan for the Sonoma Creek watershed. Project documents are available for public review and comment, at the link above. A public hearing is scheduled for December 10, 2008.
