2008 303(d) List
Proposed revisions to the 303(d) list for the Colorado River Basin
The Regional Board has opened a public comment period on proposed revisions to the 303(d) list of impaired water bodies in the Colorado River Basin. The comment period will close on January 9, 2009. The Regional Board Hearing on the proposed revisions is scheduled for January 22, 2009. At this hearing, the Regional Board will consider for approval each proposed listing change and will consider adoption of a Resolution in support of its recommendations to the State Water Resources Control Board (State Board) for the statewide 2008 303(d) list. On June 28, 2007, USEPA gave final approval to California's 2006 Section 303(d) List of Water Quality Limited Segments. The approved 303(d) List for the Colorado River Basin Region contains the Region's impaired surface water bodies, hydrologic unit number, the number of affected miles, sources of pollution, and timeline for TMDL development.
