Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund - EAR Account Program

The Emergency, Abandoned and Recalcitrant (EAR) Account Program is a subaccount under the UST Cleanup Fund Program. The EAR Account Program provides funding to the Regional Water Quality Control Boards and local regulatory agencies to abate emergency situations or to cleanup abandoned or recalcitrant sites that pose a threat to human health, safety, and the environment, as a result of a petroleum release from a UST.
